2. Loktak Lake and Sendra island
It is the largest fresh water lake in the North-East region located 48 kms from Imphl.Loktak is a huge and beautyful
stretch of water spread upto 312sq km .area and looks like a miniature island sea from the
Tourist Bangalow set atop sendra Island , visitors get a birds eye view of life on the lake

3.INA Memorial - Moirang
45 kms from Imphal, the town is one of the main centres of early Meitei folk culture with the ancient temple
of the pre-hindu Lord Thangiing , situated here .The town has a special place in the history of the Indian Freedom Struggle .It was at Moirang that the flag of the Indian National Army as first unfurled on April 14, 1944.

4. Manipur Zoological Garden
About 6 kms from imphal toward the west , lies the Zoological Garden at Iroisemba , hidden half a mile from the Imphal Kangchup road.

5. Manipur state museam
This is the interesting museum near the polo gground has a fairly good display of Manipur's
tribal heritage and a collection of portraits of Manipur's former rulers .Particularly interesting items are costumes ,arms and weapons,
relics and historical documents.

stone markers and bronze plaques recording brief accounts of their anguish and scrifice.

About 10 kms from Imphal,is the main centre for suding in higher class.The university has the three Schools of studies consisting of 22 post-graduat
Departments including the Manipur institue of Management studies.

8.D.M.College
It is situate at the centre of Imphal .It is the oldest college for studying hiher class after 10 plus two.
